I just emailed everyone that is on the email list. This new topic is something that I think we need to take a good strong look and effort at as a club, and good people in general.

Please either post your thoughts here, at the meeting coming up, or by email to me.

We think this is a wonderful idea. Maybe we could even get some of our sponsors to help out by way of donation or extra discounts.

This kind of stuff just breaks my heart.
 
After talking to Jesse, I think the biggest they can do right now is a 10g. I believe it is going to go on the little girls night stand or dresser so she can enjoy it in her room.
 
Let me look around and see what I've got. I think I might be able to put together most of what a 10g aquarium would take. Are you wanting tropicals or cold water fish?

Cool Matt. That will work.

I was hopeing that we could take a collection at the meeting to get them a gift card for fish, free pizza cards, and maybe some gas cards to help them with the trips back and forth
 
I talked to some of my neighbors and my wifes family, and I am getting some cash donations from some of them, and gift cards to help out the family as well.
 
i think that would be great if they need. I will ask, It might work out better witha stand.
 
wow, we can put together quite a few set ups amongst us as we all seem to have extra equipment laying around. Count me in for a monetary donation.

If we were to come up with something that quickly imagine what we could do collectively on purpose. It is possible we could work towards doing something such as this each year and make a donation or something through make a wish or Riley's etc. Defintely something we could think about.

That is something that I have been thinking about since we started the club. I talked to work today and need to turn a letter into them. They give more on a corporate level, but HR said if they could give to this they would for sure.

I also emailed people on my other email accounts and told them about this and what we are trying to do. I have had people from the club, from the emails, church, work, neighbors, and family all say they would donate with money. This is going to be a good thing for the family, and I think for sure that we need to do this every year some how or another.
 
Matt has the equip covered for sure...lol..

As far as getting it all together, I will have Jesse talk to the father to see when it will work best for him, but I imagine in the next few weeks. If you have stuff to donate, and you are coming to the meeting, go ahead and bring it then. Either Jesse or I can store it till it is time to give it to the family.
