Added these guys last Monday. They were captured as a pair, and then off to Aquatouch here in Phoenix. They spent just over a month in QT with Michael and his crew there. If you ever want to buy rare/semi-rare fish with good piece of mind, Aquatouch is the place to do it. They treat all their fish in QT for all parasites and train them on a captive diet for a month at Aquatouch Too, before they ever hit the floor of the main store. Can't say enough about how great a store it is, and a sponsor here at RC if you didn't know. I had planned on adding Crosshatch in a couple years when I upgrade to a 10 footer, but when Michael got them in for such a good price I couldn't resist.
Was thrilled at how little aggression there was toward these new fish, particularly from my Sohal Tang. The only fish that harassed them at all was the Passer Angel, but the male put a very quick stop to that. The male is roughly 7.5 inches and the female is 5.5 inches. They ate like pigs the first day and have fit into my system immediately/perfectly.
I like this pic with the Sohal, the Male and the big Tang are pretty much the same size, the Sohal may have him by 1/2 an inch.
They get along great, but no protection has been needed by the Male
One more of the happy couple
The male, lights out, with flash
Same with the girl
The male with his "red toothed" buddy
Niger likes to be in the pics I guess, I like this pic because the Niger is out of focus and the Crosshatch is not.
I had a sweet video, but I had to send my EX F1 in to Casio as the USB port became dislodged:thumbdown That would be the Camera I use to give golf lessons, thankfully I'm slow right now, I'm teaching without technology, lol. Anyway, I will post that when it comes back.
