My Squamosa is about 6" or so and my Derasa is about 3.0". My sandbed is clean because I have quite a bit of water flow and a good clean up crew. I have 2 queen conches, sand sifting goby, cucumber, and a few other snails to turn the sandbed over.

Hmm that's my next goal, try to make my sandbed as clean and white as yours.
