Well my DSA tank is leaking at the seam. I contacted DSA yesterday. They seemed eager to help on the first call. askex for me to send pictures and copy of original receipt. I sent them yesterday. Called 3 times today to speak with tom. He was in meeting all day. Asked to speak with someone else everyone was in meeting. So i spoke with receptionist. Who assured me some one would call me. She just spoke with tom. Even though they closed in 5 min. Well no return call. Then a hour later i get an email saying the store i bought it from they no longer deal with. So told me to locate a retailer near me. Which according to their site states there are 20 within 100 miles. All are either out of business or no longer deal with them. Why is it up to me to do this?. Why are all the stores on their listing on their site out of business or no longer deal with them ? Yet their still listed on site. I emailed them back asking same questions no answers. Sent emails asking for a phone call please. No call. No maybe we can work something out. Just were no responsible for shipping charges. I never had it shipped. Kind of the reason i didnt go custom. Didnt want to pay 500 for shipping. Then be responsible for shipping if something goes wrong. I mean this is an off the shelf tank thats 565. For a 100 gallon. Now they want me to pay shipping. And try to find a store to accept that dosn't deal with them. i have a million other questions but cant get to speak to anyone. They dont answer or dont return call. i bought their stand so there was no issues if their was a problem. So i paid extra for the off the shelf stand that does me no good now. Am i being unreasonable.

I emailed back saying if he would tell me a reasonable location that i was willing to travel to pick up tank. No response.

I hate this kind of C/S, no one answers, someone is in a meeting all day, no return calls or email's.

I bet that if your friend called and wanted to buy a tank they would answer right up. Hopefully they will get it together and honor they're work.

Good Luck

I have the same tank. I can say that f this happens to me, based on this, I will be talking with another tank manufacturer. C/S is what it's all about these days.

Also i talked with that pet place and the have the same tank with no overflow. I emailed DSA and offered if the would contact them i would take that tank an just drill it my self. No response yet. I know today im going to be calling and getting the same response. At a meeting. The email was posted right after they closed for the day. I called 5 min before closing time and was assured tom would call me back. Tom according to him is not even the person that handles the warranty issues. Its dan, but if you try and ask for him they wont even transfer the call to him or give you a number he can be reached at. I asked tom for his number and was told he was never at his desk. So everything would go through him.

I just want to say also. The place i bought thr tank from " that pet place" i spoke with jarod he was more than helpful and went out of his way to help me. Would not tell me why they no longer do business with them. But informed me they have one last tank without overflow. And was willing to try and work something out if DSA would contact them.

Thats a bummer man... All this running around because of a manufacturer fail... I called dsa once to get a quote on a new custom tank and some lady just told me to check their website instead of trying to help find one... I laughed because what the listed as a local retailer no longer carries them or out of business... Anyways you could just go reptile if things don't work out. Lol

I contactef that fish place and told me yhey had a show and not a pro( reef ready). I email Dsa and offered to take their show.

Wow, that sucks! I was considering a custom DSA before I bought my LeeMar. The DSA quote was considerably higher and it took them FOREVER and several calls from the LFS to get the quote. I'm glad I didn't end up going with them.

Good luck. The number of quality fish tank manufacturers out there seem to be shrinking...

I spoke with tom today after 20 min on hold after refusing to hang up. Told receptionist jerry or geri. That i would hold. Very politely. Finally got tom on the phone and was told im lucky he was answering my calls. Ask him what consumer focused solution was. He in formed me to contact a local store i could work with. I asked to work with what. I again informed him if he read my email i would pick up tank at any of the retailers listed on his site. His choice. Which ever was easier for him. He went ape **** about " consumer focused solution." Told me to empty tank and ship it to them and they would repair. I asked what he would like me to do with coral and fish. He tokd me thats no concern of his. I have offered to pick up replacement tank anywhere he chooses within 100 miles or even further. Every option i give them its not good enough.

I didnt condider calling CC company. I purchased from that fish place in pa. The were more then helpful. Even giving me ref no. So if dsa called they would try and work something out. DSA wont call.uploadfromtaptalk1425058489723.jpg

Take it back to the place in PA and tell them you want a new tank. When I buy a tank from my LFS they stand up behind it whether it is from DSA, Oceanic, or Marineland.
