I got a New Macbook Pro with retina display for christmas. I transferred everything over, both on the mac side, and the windows side (I use both parallels and bootcamp). The ecosmart connection manager hung the first time I tried to connect to ecosmart live, so I closed it, and when I tried to re-launch it, it just instantly crashed and wouldn't open.
I've deleted the connection manager both from applications, and the application support folder on my mac and re-downloaded and installed it, but I'm still having the same problem. The connection manager won't launch, the icon appears in the dock for a split second then closes without adding the Ecosmart icon to the menu bar.
I've tried to download the connection manager in Windows through firefox to see if it's a mac problem, but in Firefox I can't get Ecosmart live to figure out that it's not connected to anything. It just hangs on the swirly 'connecting' symbol, and as a result, the 'settings' menu that allows me to download the connection manager is permanently greyed out.
Any suggestions?
