New ESL Release

tried factory reset and reprogrammed but cannot cycle through lights now, Ecotech any reason why lights would stop working, programs are communicating but no lights

I have been trying to program by radion for a couple of hours now after downloading the new patch. It is connected, I have the graph selected with what I want the schedule to be, and when I hit program it just sits on "preparing and synchronizing schedule data". I am not sure what else to do.

Could you private message me or post the email that you use to log into EcoSmart Live? I want to check the backend as this is usually easy to resolve.

Shaun, I tried the steps, and the same exact thing happened before. It finds no radions.
Also, is there a way to decrease intensity on artificial mode?

got the lights running program seemed to be running but now lights go up and down and the unit sounds like R2D2 when it happens what's it doin?

Interesting reference :)

That noise is coming from the touch-sensitive buttons on the top of the Radion fixture. If that is the case, I would highly recommend disabling the buttons by clicking on the gear icon on each light in EcoSmart Live and unchecking "Local Control" or "Enable Radion Buttons".

There are videos on the eco tech you tube channel. I just bought a Radion on the weekend but what does eco smart acctually do?

Okay that worked and everything was running smoothly using the high growth program with acclimation period of 4 weeks. This morning I notice that red LEDs are blinking at about 5 second intervals during time that lights should all be off. I think they are also blinking through daytime period as well but its just less discernable. Any idea why and how to make it stop?

Are you currently installing an update? I cant connect and got the message in between that the servers are updating. Now the message is gone but ESL is still stuck on "connecting..."
If so, anything I have to do to get the update?

Hi Jon,

Quick question. I have my lights end at midnight and then an hour of moonlight, but last night I've noticed my lights shut off completely dark at around 11:45pm. Am I doing something wrong?

BTW, my fans are still making noise but the lights are still running. Talk to customer service yesterday and they told me they can't do anything yet unless my light is not working. I guess I'll just pray that my lights won't go out on me.

I got a New Macbook Pro with retina display for christmas. I transferred everything over, both on the mac side, and the windows side (I use both parallels and bootcamp). The ecosmart connection manager hung the first time I tried to connect to ecosmart live, so I closed it, and when I tried to re-launch it, it just instantly crashed and wouldn't open.

I've deleted the connection manager both from applications, and the application support folder on my mac and re-downloaded and installed it, but I'm still having the same problem. The connection manager won't launch, the icon appears in the dock for a split second then closes without adding the Ecosmart icon to the menu bar.

I've tried to download the connection manager in Windows through firefox to see if it's a mac problem, but in Firefox I can't get Ecosmart live to figure out that it's not connected to anything. It just hangs on the swirly 'connecting' symbol, and as a result, the 'settings' menu that allows me to download the connection manager is permanently greyed out.

Any suggestions?

It figures...

It figures...

I decided to swallow the pill this morning and give Ecosmart Live a go. Seems that the serve must be down because the website won't open... just churns and churns.

Considering what I have been reading about the sever being down so often, the reliability and reputation of the lighting system is soon going to become suspect. For the system to remain top quality, Ecotech needs to achieve 5 nines with Ecosmart.

Just logged in for the first time since Jan 15th and have to say the site/process is working much better for me now. My connection manager was updated and I'm no longer having a problem with the site connecting to my lights. Previously I would have to quit the connection manager, log in, then start the connection manager for things to work. Seems now that it just works Thanks for fixing this!
