I am still learning as I go with it. It seems be extremely sensitive to input flow as far as the water level inside the skimmer goes.

The ball valves are a little bit tougher to adjust. I like using a gate valve for this.
Sweet skimmer though.

Does the stand pipe have a brace on it?

What brand of ball valve is used on this skimmer? I've got some single union ball valves that are pretty smooth as well....

cward - have you used the new ballvalves? they are SMOOTH!

Jeremy where are the updated pics?/

They are pretty smooth, but it seems harder to get the water height where I wanted it in the riser. I'm sure after a little practice it's a piece of cake.

cward - hmm they are prolly a little less easy then the gate valve but i didn't ahve trouble. do yours stick or are they smooth? remember just a little nud but do quite a bit

I will get some pics up in the next few days. I am down a pump on it right now, so only have 3 recircs running and its still performing pretty well.

Jeremy, I had a pump go bad also on my RC1000. It started to leak water on the top panel. Were you are to get a hold of ER to get a replacement pump? I called them and they said they would send me info. on a RMA, but that was last week Tuesday. I have been tring to call them since then but with no success..

Jeremy,

They got ahold of me today, so they were able to send me the info. Sounds like everything is being taken care of...
