New fish. =D

so Matt when is the new king/Queen of the tank going to get to your crib? hopefully you are all setup and ready for the fish?

yea i'm as ready as im gonna get ha. im still nervous since i don't want to loose it. did you get my PM about the sump? and she should arrive wednesday. =]
 
What a rare and beautiful fish. OMG.

I wish you the best of luck with keeping it for many years. I do have to say though that Im shocked that you just shelled out so much money for a brand new fish after having system //issues with your tank within 6 months of such a purchase. Ive added frags etc to tanks after a couple of months of tank issues, but never anything as expensive as that fish. Heck you are either a braver soul than I, just have tons of dough or ???

Either way, I am envious.

i really don't like fedex! they diverted the plane because of fog...then they don't update for hours, then i call them and ask why it's not here and they said it landed in NY instead and it's on it's way to danbury. i told them i wanted to pick it up then because they take so long to deliver it from the danbury place. takes them with 2-3 hours. then they finally update and it just says it arrived at newburg, NY dest sorting facility at 9:30. but it never said it left. but the person i talked to on the phone said it already left. is she lying or is the comp just not updated yet?? i told them to call me when it gets there and i know there not. there going to call me a couple hours AFTER it gets there. they always do. nothing i ship with them is ever on time. always late. well im done complaining. i hope the fish is ok and not too stressed.
 
oh man, thats bad juju.... hope its ok bro, i also hope that the place you got the fish from, insured it and what not.... keep calling and make sure you are not ok!!! have them give you a refund for it not being there before 10am.... or did you get fedex overnight only? bc if so, i think its delivered by 3PM gauranteed... vs the priority overnight which is by 9 or 10am....

Good luck brotha, make sure you shut the lights off when you acclimate it to your tank, this should reduce stress i believe.
 
it was suppost to be here by 10:30 AM. im gonna tell them i want a refund when i go pick it up. and i believe it's insured. they said arrive alive guarantee. but still.

it looks like it's doing fine. i will have pics up soon. i am temp acclimating ATM but in a few minutes i'm going to drip acclimate for about an hour and then into the tank. i should have pics in a few minutes =D.

yea lets see the pics already lol...

man, my dads tank was spiked with something by "company" while i was away and most of the SPS i had been growing out died on me :(.... the CAP is coming back, i had over 6" worth of it growing nicely.... freaking sux, once i setup my 30X30X16 and its established i will grow some stuff out for ya :)
 
That really sux! I have some nice acros and dendras growing too and o will hook you up. I have over 30 baby dendras growing nicely! :)
