New Food

Thanks bill for putting this to gather. My fish loved it and lps too. They started feeding with min I put the food in the tank.
For the food clip I found it easy glue it on a mag float so I can put it anywhere in the tank and move it around having the tangs chase it. Funny to watch. I've been a clip for frozen food for a long time now. I found if you leave it the tank empty they get use to it.
Thanks again bill. Hope that coral made it home all right.

Yes it did, It was polyped out in the bag when i got home. I think i may have already had the same one though but did not know the lineage it came from WWC as another Efflo not the 500 so they may have mis tagged it, Only time will tell and I see what it grows out to be.
Thanks again and hope the PM is doing fine, It was opening up for day's after i cut it. I just wanted to make sure it was OK before i gave it to you.

I picked up one of the two little fishies mag clips and took their clip off and put the mesh clip on. Works great. Unfortunately I had the food in for 8+ hours with not even a fish swimming near. Crabs started climbing up the corners and some snails went for it though. I think like others have said, a little adjustment time will be needed. I will say, after 8+ hours, the food barely disintegrated. That is a good sign.

I just tried it - I put it in too strong of a current, and the stuff came right out of the mesh clip thing. My Black Spot angel got about two bites, then the current carried the chunk right over to one of my urchins, where it was perfectly speared on one of its spines... LOL

The urchin then used those long sweeper tentcle things and moved its spines to manuver the chuck around to its mouth. All gone.

Well, at least someone in the tank enjoyed it!

That is funny and it's like Murphy's law that things like that happen all the time. If you tried to do that a 1,000 times you could most likely never do it again Ha

True, Bill. Wish I could have gotten a picture. Murphys Law #2 - the camera is never where you left it - or at least where you thought you left it! LOL
