Here u go Mark!! lol

The new system is up and running and came out pretty sweet. Still a few tweaks here and there needed, but all and all running well. Been up just over a month now. It consists of 2 48 x 24 x11 tanks lit by dual 250DE pendants. The sump is 5' and has in the center a soft/zoo grow are lit by 150DE. The skimmer is a BM200 and it rocks..thats one day skim in the cup.

I have a modified MTC pro cal for calcium, a 15 gallon refuge and the return is a single eheim 1262 and its turned down as too much flow. I have a custom American DJ control panel for all items and an ACjr.

I also am growing my own phyto, rotifers and baby brine. The nicest thing I have is a stainless steel sink next to the tanks with hot and cold water!!!!. Also the tank has a float valve so I never add top off. Its a pretty simple setup too. the refuge has the sand and the overflow where the skimmer is I have 40-50 lbs rock.

I can grow 600-800 frags at one time now and have 200 at this time lol. And they are doing well. Just need to find a WHITE 10K DE bulb.

great job, very nice setup Tony!

Is the phyto / rotifers for coral feeding, or are you planning on breeding ?

Thanks All.....it was a long time over due.

Julie,
There still in the garage. The new tank is next!!!!!

no time for breeding...lol just for fun and to feed the corals. Will see what difference they make. Fed rotifers today for the first time.

Thanks. Temp is dooing very well so far. I split the lights so the top and sump HQI come on in the morning and the middle light come on in the afternoon after the other two turn off. The temp is controlled by the ACJr. I have NO chiller and just use a 35 watt fan. It turns on at 78.5 and brings down to 78. So far so good and no problems. takes about 30-45 mins to drop it back down to 78.

Tony, that's systems in the tank room? You really know how to setup up a system, great job my friend...

I can't wait to see the main system:)

Oh! did I forget to say your one sick puppy:lol:

I've seen this setup and it is awesome! Tony thought of everything and the American DJ makes the whole system really clean.

Dang.. that is VERY nice.
Drop me a PM if you don't mind me coming over to check it out.
I was thinking about setting up a frag tank next fall (after the garage temps come down below 1000000000 degrees. ;)

great work! i cant believe the skimmer pulls out that much for a system with no fish...is all the waste from the corals or am i missing something?
