just doesent work as well, youll have to start applying alot of pressure to get the coraline etc off... the blades are taxed too lol
my ends always got bent on my last tank because i had the bow front. i donno about now havent used it yet, thought about using it today the front bottoms starting to grow near the sand...

Why don't you use Randy's two part recipe? Save you a ton of money for sure.
I always clean the back wall of the tank. The first time I did it it was a bear, with all the corraline build up but since then, it's real easy. I use a 90 cent plastic razor holder that I bought at the local hardware store. Takes about 5 minutes now and it's clean and really does make things look bright and colorful.

i donno, just nervous about randys.. kalk... takes an awful lot of adjusting to get it right (from what i read.. whitfch isent to much) i have a co2tank and regulator, im prob. going to go the expensive route at some point. i guess right now im just most comfortable with using the turbo calcium and kent dhk buffer....

That is what Randy's recipe is but you can use baking soda for Alk and a multiple of different ingredients for the Ca. I use Prestone Driveway Heat, used for melting ice. 50 lb. bag costs 17 bucks, same exact thing as turbo calcium.

thats the exact same mushroom that ate my jigsaw clown in my avatar. i had clowns host in it for over 2 yrs. nothing. than one night gone. of course, if your clown does not host in it, than i think your fine. i did not give my clowns any other option at that time.
the carpet looks good. do you have good flow over it? i have no exp with carpets but rod seems to have the best success that i know of and he has pretty good flow in his system.

yikes that does make me nervous i will sell the shrooms to somebody i dont want them anyway. at least they are not hosting it
i have been tweaking the flow i had it real low and i keep adding small amounts moving pumps seems happpy now not being blown around and the tentacles are getting lots of movement.
im sorry about your jigsaw it was a really nice fish

it actually killed two onyx. the jigsaw i only theorized but with the second onxy i caught it in the act at 2am. it went right in the trashcan bec i think it dev. a technique/taste for fish. so i did not want to give it to anyone else.
honestly though i think as long as the clown does not host in it your absolutely fine.

yea wow i dont think its going to eat anything
i doubt with all the possible hosts they are going to head into that mushroom after all this time.
i just want rid off allot of the softies so i will be trading that mushroom rock for a peice of fresh LR and some credit
i heard the mushrooms can actually sedate the clown so that it doesnt try and run, just falls asleep
