New Haddoni

Came across a small 4-5" green Haddoni that was for sale from a local hobbiest. He had it in a predator tank and didn't blend in well and he wanted it gone fast. Not flashy in color as I've seen on here, but it was only $30 and looked in good condition and being close by the house there was no possible delivery/transit mishaps or concerns.
We lost a beautiful gig carpet a few months ago :sad2: that went downhill after a few days and died two weeks later. We've always loved the carpet species, so I'm hoping for the best in this one. I do have a very good feeling, it took to it"s spot right away, sunk in petty well, and ate some krill yesterday, on day 3 in our tank.
Again, not the neon green that I would have preferred, but again only $30 from a local person, and we like it alot. :inlove:

Thoughts on how it looks and or suggestions would be apprieciated. Thanks

our beloved gig, R.I.P.

I have the same type of Carpet in my tank, I love it. Just pay close attention to it's mouth and legs if the mouth is out for to long then It will start to show signs that's its sick and die, Feed it clams and krill and silversides and watch em' around the tank it is a very storage little guy It turned over LR unfortunately I lost to chalice coral that where placed near the carpet and LR. once the carpet makes up it's mind you'll be good. But you never know? Good luck.

Thanks. The mouth is closed, and when the lights are on, can't really see it at all since it's sunk down in the middle. I'll see if I can take some pics of the mouth though.

Any suggestions on a feeding schedule? My purple LTA does best when feed every 2-3 days it seems so don't exactly know about the Haddoni.

Is the LTA in the same tank as the Haddoni? I tried that in the past (( 2 different tanks )), and neither anemone would stay put, always moving. Once I separated them into different tanks they both stayed put. -- EDIT - now that I looked at the pictures better I see that they are -- keep an eye on both of them.

As for feeding, I fed mine about once a month, if I remember. :)

Thanks TTrex.
I am concerned about having both of them in the same tank, and will be closely monitoring them both. So far they both look really good, but it has only been 5 days and I know things could change at moments notice.
Thanks again.
