I got mine (2 ea. #3) from Premium Aquatics , but at the time of this post they were sold out. Hopefully they'll get some more in soon and unless they raise their prices, all the sizes are an average of $10 less than DocF&S.

The Seio controller does not alternate, both pumps go up and down at he same time.

I was told that more would arrive at the end of March, so this seems to be the same for everyone.
DrF&S are not the only ones with the higher prices. I can't recall which online retailer I saw had them for the same price. F&S had them on sale so they were pretty much the same price anyway. Not sure if that still stands.

Guys,
Just finishing up setting up my first tank, It's a 37 gallon tank. Right now I have nothing in it but the cleaning crew.. Thinking about buying some of the Hydro's.. I am planning on keeping some softies, bunch of zoas, Xenia, and/or a frogspawn, anchor or bubble coral..
What size, and how many of the Hydro's should I get? I can get two 2's and get 32x turnover rate.. or I can get two 3's and get 46x. The three's seem to be a bit much, to me. I thought that the optimal turnover rate is ~30-35..??
Let me know what you guys think.
Thanks
Tim

Not sure if this will help, but I had ordered 2 3s for my 75. I already had a 1 in it. Well while they were backordered I decided to change my order to 2 4s instead even though I was afraid it might be too much. Got the 4s in last week and definitely glad I went with the larger ones instead. The current really is dispersed well and is not overpowering. I have a Galaxy, Gonoporea, Devils Hand, and Green Star Polyps. I have never seen them look as happy as with the addition of the 4s.
With my return pump I'm getting a turnover of about 48x.

How do you have them facing in the tank?...

Okay, if they really do push that broad of a flow, then I am going to go with the two 3's. I think that should be more than enough, with the addition of possibly a fuge overlow coming as well.
If their is too much flow though a controller can be used to turn one or both of them down a bit correct?
Thanks
