Has anyone had any experience with the DC pumps?
Also I have
Mixed reef sps , lps, zoa, paly
48x18x20 76 gal rimless deepblue
Using 2 mp10.
Wanting to add a bit more flow
Could I add a wp 25, or wp40
Or 2 wp10 on the back side?

The controllers for the wp pumps have the followung settings.

H1: High flow 100%
H2: Medium flow
H3: Low flow 33%
Wave 1: max flow rate whose pulse duration is adjusted by the blue knob
Wave 2: stesps up then back down in 6 steps from low to high flow, step duration is adjusted by blue knob
Wave 3: same as w2 but up in 6 steps and down in 8
Else: random flow cycle that automatically varies in intensity and duration
Feed: 10 min pump stop
S1, S2, S3: within W1 mode these adjust flow 100%, 75%, 50%
Lock: disables the duration adjustment knob to prevent accidental adjustments
Night: uses an optional but included sensor to turn flow down to 1/2 when the lights go out

What is the difference between wave 1 and s1? Instructions are very vague. Thanks for posting this.

Wave 1 with s1 is pulsing wave at 100% wave 1 with s2 is pulsing wave at 75% and at s3 is same as others but at 50% power.

Count me in I am interested in getting a 40 and a 10depending on price.. Is there any possibility of you getting replacement parts through them also? I need a new controller box I think it's called the 1f for my wp25. Pump works fine I just can't change the modes.

Guys i bought an wp40 from someone here that did the last group cause it was too much for his tank.

Its only been up a week, but i am pleasantly impressed. I like it better than the higher end, and much more expensive Tunzes and Korallia. Dont know yet about longevity but others have had no issues.

Im not ready to compare it to my Vortech MP40, but only cause ive had that for 7 years.

For those asking about what size to buy keep in mind that for SPS, 40-50x turnover rate is a good point to be. For LPS ide cut t by 30-50%.
