Wax on, wax off...

I just spent maybe 20 minutes with my algae cleaner in side to side, up and down, and circular motions trying to clean my tank glass for guests this evening.

I heard one of you mention there is an algae cleaner magnet attachment that has a blade. This would be much more effective against the green "corallie" algae I have. Purple seems to crack off, whatever this green thick algae I have requires much more scrubbing.

I have s mag float brand scrubber with a blade. It is sooo awesome. Except when the blade is old I can clean the length of the tank by the width of the blade in one pass.


The blade attached on with a nylon bolt and nut.

I will need to find replacement blades soon. They take a odd double edged blade so you can use both sides

FYI - You need to take the blade off the scrapper after each use to rinse and store separately, so it doesn't rust.

i have the same exact blade and its awesome! whatever the reguarl mag float cant get ...this will!

+1 on removing it from your tank and taking it apart to let it dry and not let it rust.
