New Latz

Food - Try Artic Pods

My pair loves it :love2:
,

Well, I put a divider between the filter and my latz. The flow out of the filter is just too strong for them right now. Its built for a 55+ gallon tank. It was cycled, sue me. The divider is plastic with a bunch of circulation holes. They are a bit happier now. My GSM loved the flow but they are just too small right now.

On another note, Artic Pods are only available at a local fish store I now REFUSE to go to. I wont purchase them online so heh.

Well I woke up this morning and I about took a crap where i stood. There were dots on my one clown, the larger of the two. Well they started falling off. My wife came running over and started yelling "It's f***ing rocks, you dumb***". I kindly explained to her that $1100 clownfish will make a man do some crazy things. I am also color blind and dots are dots to me.

I glared at her and walked away.

The "stress rash" on my smaller clown is gone. That's good. They are both a nice shade of shiny black.

If any of you have not had the pleasure of owning a pair, now would be the time to start saving. :D

More and more tank-raised Latz should be appearing in LFS around the country soon!

awesome latz btw, i never quite seen the paterns that your quite have, but since they are quite new to the hobby (atleast they are for me). i am sure there will be many different patterns.
you mentioned Doni, is she breeding these now?
I thought i was crazy on paying $300 for a pair of Clowns from Doni ( snow/Pic A+). hehe
I bought them from her last night.
good luck with them, i hope they do well, they sound like they are coming around for you.

They make me VERY nervous at times. They like to "Sleep" on the silicone seals. They appear almost in a coma. The light comes on and they jet up.

Yeah, although no one on this thread has yet to name any source, it appears tank raised Latz will be fairly common very soon. Not that they will ever be as common as tank raised tomatos-and they certainly won't be as cheap, but TR Latz are here and L.A. will be releasing their tank raised McCulloch's this coming year so they will be available domestically. Anyone want to start a pool as to when tank raised fuscocaudatus will be available?
