Maybe I am just being paranoid. I recently changed the flooring in my house from tile to wood floor. The wood that I chose was American Cherry wood with a low junga rating of only 876. With a tank that is a few thousand pounds filled with water, I am worried that it would create an indentation in the wood beneath the floor. On top of that the potential water spill that can damage the wood.
He said that the weight of tank probably will make a slight indention in the wood but that it would be very slight and that it would be evenly distributed across the bottom of the stand. Meaning that if and when I ever do move the tank there could be a rectangular indention in the wood.
