New Leemar 237 gallon is finally home

Maybe I am just being paranoid. I recently changed the flooring in my house from tile to wood floor. The wood that I chose was American Cherry wood with a low junga rating of only 876. With a tank that is a few thousand pounds filled with water, I am worried that it would create an indentation in the wood beneath the floor. On top of that the potential water spill that can damage the wood.

My buddy does floors so I'm going to check and see what he says. I'm on slab so if I have to take the slates out where the tank is going to be it shouldn't be a big deal. I'm glad you brought up this point though it's better safe than sorry.

No sagging it's level.
So this is what my buddy told me. He said that the weight of tank probably will make a slight indention in the wood but that it would be very slight and that it would be evenly distributed across the bottom of the stand. Meaning that if and when I ever do move the tank there could be a rectangular indention in the wood. As long as the tank stays level I'm not really worried about it. That can always be fixed. I will definitely monitor it closely when I get it filled with water

I noticed a lot of views but no comments. What gives? Good, bad, likey, no likey, opinions, suggestions. I'm using starboard under the rocks, so we'll see how that does over time.

Am I seeing things or does the right side of the tank look different in the first pic than it does in the last? In the first pic there's a tall tower and in the last it looks like smaller, lower pieces. Did you change the layout from the first pic to the last?

no changes. The last pic just shows the depth. That's what it looks like from the side, behind the rock.

I really doubt it. I put my tanks on a layer of Styrofoam, and the indentation there is quite minor. I'd expect no indentation at all on wood. BTW, maybe I missed it, but what are the dimensions?

Rockscape looks good. I like an open look.
