Just so we are clear i am not affiliated with this company, i am just informing fellow reefers. Alpine Koi & Homescapes in Ft collins has started up a saltwater section in there store. After speaking with the owner and his son for a few hours i found out that they have not advertised nor were they going to advertise there new saltwater section.
So here is what i noticed when i was there, Nice people, 8-10 55 gallon tanks set up with saltwater fish(deviders in the 55gs). they have a nice 135gallon?? frag tank set up with mostly zoas some monti's and some chalices(they are going to be adding more every day). They also have some dry goods (kalk, iodine, heaters , epoxy, coral glue, ect).
The owners were very nice and took more than ample time to hang out and just plainly chat with me. I asked the owner if he minded me posting them on here and he said under 1 condition, that i let you all know that there saltwater section was still very new and the fact that it is lightly stocked right now. IMO they had ample fish(6 line, yellow tang, coral beauty, damsels, just to name a few). I also just have to say that there fish looked happier than most fish i see in peoples houses unlike some of the other LFS in the area.
Any questions about my experience with them just ask!
