New Lfs?

I went up there today actually. I talked to one of the guys. I can't remember his name already forgot it. He was a younger asian decent guy.

Sounds like they have some big plans. They're still waiting for the 10 ft. ray/shark tank to come in. But I'd say there were approximately 25 fish tanks, a couple big cubes, the shark/ray tank and a big area for dry goods. he planned on having some top end drygoods there. Livestock plans included some harder to find items. Looks good as there's a lot of space in there.

Definitly won't be ready in beginning of February. He said more towards middle/end for opening th doors. But not fully stocked and operational at that time. By the looks of it I'd give it a mid/early March to be fully stocked.

 As usual, just reporting what his Mrs. said to me. It'll be open when it's open.

I went up there today also. Looks like it'll be really nice. Lots of live rock "on display" right now.

BTW: It's officially 2.7 miles from my house. Woohoo!

Was kidding about the display.

They don't let just anyone in (I wasn't invited in) so there's no one to display for. You must be special.

Im about .5 miles from it hopefully with all of us so close he will do well the drive to the other lfs sucks sometimes

I just kind of walked in and the guy was like "can I help you?" :lmao:

So I sat with him and talked for about 10 minutes.

They are continuing to work on it .. i drive by it every couple days. looks like they have alot to do.

They are getting close... they have fish in thier tanks and most of the work looks to be done... I think curt said one of the major hold ups was a messed up shipment of some sort

Talking with Marty's wife, he's had a lot of setbacks here and there with some equipment breaking, I think she said they had a bit of a flood the other day due to something malfunctioning with a chiller - not sure, he's been doing a lot of the work inside on constructing stuff, she said she's even been over there on weekends helping scrape tanks and such. I know they had trouble with one of their cars too. She just gave me one of their new business cards yesterday. I know he's got livestock in and they're trying to make sure they stay alive and healthy while he's finishing stuff up. I believe he's just as eager as anyone to get the doors open, but stuff just comes up that causes delays sometimes.

The address on the card is #6 Fee Fee road, but she hasn't said anything about him wanting help. She said there are some guys that help him some of the time, but that he's been spending like 12 - 14 hours a day there working on it.

I'd help too as it's right up the road.

I don't know if that's the exact address, but it's right there in the strip mall by the grocery store.

Go north a little bit and it's on the right hand side. The buildings have brown roofs if you put it in satellite mode.

If you zoom extra close on satellite mode, you can see Jeff outside with his nose up to the glass.
