New Life/ Spectrum food

I'll put a disclaimer right up front:
in no way am I connected to this company or their products. I'm simply a hobbyist that has seen firsthand the amazing results of using this product.

I first heard of these pellets from drtango (previous TOTM winner from Buffalo, NY). His sentiments were echoed by many respected folks in the industry: Fenner, etc. etc.

I'd have to agree that (for many reasons) this is the best single food that I've ever worked with. The reason for my post:

not many LFS's in our area offer them for sale- especially the larger size (3mm) pellets. (I favor the 3mm pellets. If not consumed whole by larger fish they eventually disintegrate and feed the whole aquarium.)

ABC in Fairport carries the larger pellets. MO sells the smaller pellets.
What other LFS's sell this food that (IMO) all of us should be using?

Gary, I know in the past you posted the benefits of using these pellets. Could you be a gentlemen and a scholar and re-visit the pro's of using these say for the newbee's and for some of the older salts who just use food like Hakari bio-pure products and nori......

Gary,
I actually got some of these pellets for the tangs and they love them! Do not know which they love better the rods or pellets :)
Thanks for the advise.

+1 Gary Ive used these for a while and they are better than any other pellet. They pollute far less and fish seem to enjoy them more. I feed rods and pellets too shawna the fish dont know what to go for first lol ARC has them in 2 different size quantities.

Gary, we got some free samples of sera marin granules at the swap today...any insight on these? I tossed a few in the 90g and the mandarins and clowns went right for them...

I tried a sample of those Sera pellets as well.
The only thing that I could deduce from such a small sample container is the fact that my fish will eat them. The ingredients are different, too.

i've been using sera pellets for about 6 mo. fish seem to be doing very well on it. imo nls are a better option. i'm swiching back after this container.

I think both spectrum and sera are top notch dry foods. I have used both for years and not sure I could say one is better, but yes ingredients are not all the same in these.

thanks for the feedback guys....will probably stick with the NLS until a little more is said about these others....
