So for everyone who has used this product, would you say its the real stuff? I'm trying to get a clear answer on this to decide to either buy this or pursue a perscription to get it from pharmacy.
NLS is not a good food. It makes a mess and gets into everything. Used to feed it to my fish. I switched to New Era you will not be disappointed
babelon -- one dose for the 21 days at the correct level
Just about to treat with NLS Ich Shield powder. So are people following the directions from bottle or are using different dosage. Earlier in this post I read 0.6 g per 20 gallon. And someone else mentioned 1 g per 18 gallon. Anyone have the most used dosage?
And what about using this and the biological filter? I read 1 dose per 21 days but if Im changing water etc, is redosing necessary? How do people calculate the redose?
I dose 10-15mg/Liter or 40-60 mg a gallon. Won't effect biological filtration. 1 dose is usually all that's necessary. If you do a water change only redose for the amount of water you replaced (10g for a water change, redose the med for only 10g) I dose the 60mg per gallon when I treat it

Looks like IckShield is more potent than standard Chloroquine Diphosphate.

The guy doesn't follow the directions and adds 30% more medicine and he wonders why his fish died...?
Ha, I'm going to let that go... Anyway I can assure you I have used ich shield powder more than most on here and since using it at 60mg/gallon I have had 100% success. Just recently treated a Venustus and two banner fish at this level, a griffis angel pair, and my Gem tang comes out of CP on Tuesday after 3 weeks... How many fish have you put thru CP salty?? The fish that died from the thread you linked was from bad CP and velvet, I was too slow to recognize it was velvet
