new LTA with gapping mouth

Besides the mouth, his foot has no problems and his tenticles are sticky.

I just purchased him and he was delivered on sun to the LFS.

Within 5 minutes of putting him in my tank he already suctioned his foot to a spot.

The LFS said I can return him for a cash refund tomorrow.

Any suggestions?

i'd say return it.

It could still be acclimating to your tank.Mine had a gapping mouth the next day.It took a couple of days to adjust.2 months later it has grown abit.Give it another day or two.

If it attached already, you may be fine.
Takes a bit to acclimate.
Have deep sand for it?
What are specs/params?

If it attached quickly and it is sticky then you are pretty safe. I would keep it and just make sure you feed it well. What lighting setup do you have?
