The minis will direct more light within the tank. The larges will be hard to cram them into a canopy the size of your tank and the larges will bleed more light outside of the tank. I have the same size tank and couldn't be happier with my lighting setup.Originally posted by mitlik1
Sounds good, so mini's instead of the full size option would be adequate. From what I read, they are so good 250 compare to other brands 400K. I think it was like $5. more for full size. Are the full size a better option than the mini's or would it defract the light more.

Ok, my rock work is only about 8-10 inches wide at the top and 19 inches wide at the bottom (32 inch deep tank) You don't think the mini's would work for me?

I have a question. I have a 300g measurements are 96 long X 30" front to back X 24" tall. Do you think 4 large lumenbrights about 16" off the water would do good. I have 250watt ballast if that helps
