New mantis on killing spree

I got my Mantis from Liveaquaria. It's a Gondy that's greenish brown with yellow markings. I put in in a 24g nano with a damsel and puple pseudochromis, a few crabs and snails. It started burrowing right away under the Tongan branch. I've got a piece with a flat section on the bottom and that seems to suit it fine.

The next day I found a broken crab shell and a few legs laying around. This morning I found the pseudo with a big hole in the middle and most of his back end eaten.

2 days and 2 kills. Just the kind of mantis I wanted!

So I'm sitting at my desk looking at my tank. The Mantis is walking around in the front of the tank. The damsel swims by and the mantis leaps for it! The damsel is fast and avoided a headache. Guess I should go buy some crabs....

Do you have a Chiragra? If so, these are words of hope! Mine's currently as boring as a rock... in fact, all I know is I have a rock, not necessarily sure I have a mantis under that rock anymore...

Both of my G chiraga only ever come out when it's feeding time.

BTW, why would you put a mantis into a tank with a psuedochromis...it is a rather expensive meal. Just a thought. Damsels are 1.99 at my LFS...

It is a Chiragra, according to Dr. Roy's list. I'm looking at it right now and it's climbing around on the branch rock. Not shy at all.

Uriel-The pseudo was a mistake. I have one in my 75 and it's mean as hell. It even chases a big blue velvet damsel in that tank. I was just hoping to put another small mean fish with the damsel in the mantis tank.
