NEW Mitras - ProfiLux wireless adapter

Eventually dull control yes, but out of the box you will br able to assign light values to a maintanence mode and triger it that way from the app. I do that now with my current set up. I have a maintanence set fir fraggibg that turns on more whites so I can see better for cutting.

For myself it will save me the effort of having to plug in my laptop via USB to the lamps

Once the novelty wears off once the lamp is set there is no reason to do it wireless,

No big announcement really and no major benefit.

No I guess not other than being able to control your Mitras over the internet, via the APPS and of course not having the hassle of plugging in a USB cable trailing across your tank everytime you want to change a setting :dance:

Having full controll of your lights from the app is huge. O couldn't imagine not having that level of control. As an example. Last night about 2am I heard an unusual water sound coming from my tank ( my tank is near silent). I roll over grab my phone. Kick on the lights. Just a snail on a return causing the flow to fo up a bit. Turn off lights. Back to bed. Super easy.

Thats the issue i find with most LEds they dont have a override .
However the Pacfic sun Leds i found have a override so you can just turn them off/On without touching the software.
 
You can do that with profilux as well. Just set a maintance. For mine maintenance two is full lights for 45 minutes. Push one button on the profilux twice. Super easy.

There is a comment from "aquadigitalinc" on a post on reef builders stating that there will be a USB wireless adapter for the PC. Any merit to that?

I am not entirely sure, nothing has been said as yet, but I should have a better idea when things are released at Macna.
 
Mathias was nice enough to show me the prototype wireless card. According to him still had some stuff that needed to be re arranged.
Hopefully soon.
But honestly not sure of a "release" date.
 
I hope to have the first few on our next order, GHL need to address some firmware changes first. But its there along with the USB dongle, I have had it in my own sweet hands ;)
 
Have the shipping timelines for this been updated? Website has been updated to say available this month.

I've been out of the loop for a bit. What is the best way to secure one? Should I just contact Reefbytes to pre-order?
 
Lol nice. Didn't see it on the sheet. What's price on these. To go with mitras.
I have an expansion slot that needs to be filled. Lol
