new pics of the garden

I finally got around to reading this whole thread, and all I can say is WOW! Great looking tank! I picked up at least a few tips along the read. Everything from aquascaping to husbandry are admirable to say the least. Very nice choices in zoa polyps! Looks like you have scored some very nice finds.

sorry....busy holidays. Here's a couple new shots:

The toadstool is out of control. Over 1 foot across now and blocking the light to the Zoas. It's going to have to be trimmed soon.

I see what you mean about the growth rate of the lesser colored polyps, as opposed to the more colorful ones.
Why do they have to roll like that? :uzi:

Tank still looks great & healthy!!

Couple q?'s....is the Sinularia Leather on the left annoyed by a crab in the newer shot? Looks way small and a little like it's being used as a LazyBoy :)
Have you lost some zoa colonies or moved them? I noticed the left corner is a bit different. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the pics too seapug.

Fishindude88, most are on rocks but they spread onto the sand.

FiShTaCo, The Sinularia on the lower left was a hitchhiker that started as a piece about the size of a pea attached to a mushroom rock. It's grown a lot over the past few months and is now crammed between the rocks and the wall of the tank.

As far as the zoas go, the garden is a constantly evolving thing-- some have been overgrown and others have been moved into my other tank. I've also added a couple new colonies. Those brown palys in the middle are going to get nuked with kalk paste soon to make room for some new pretties.

Beautiful tank!!! Just got a 24g nano cube for my wife and she is in love with your Zoa garden!

I rather like it myself!!!

I love the pics Seapug. It's just stunning. Dunno if it's just me but everything seems to have exploded with growth, especially on the right sps side, wow.
Oh look there are the little pink zoas! I'm glad they haven't been taken over completely. I'll cheer them along...come on little ones you can do it.

I love your idea of replacing the brown with other pretty ones.
You know, those orange button polyps, I don't know what they're called, but they're on the left side as your looking at the tank. They're bright orange and they don't look like zoas, maybe palys. Those orange button polyps add so much color in your tank, they're really fab.

And your cynarina is still absolutely killer gorgeous.

Thanks.
