new pics of the garden

Oops sorry, I didn't think you were using vho bulbs. I think when i read the below too quickly I misread it to say "2 X 130W vho".
Thanks Seapug...Sir.

thanks....

speargunhunter-- I'm not sure if I have any sopranos. What do they look like?

Reeferon: I run 2 X 150W MH and 2 X 130W dual actinic PCs. The MH bulbs are currently a 12K Reeflux over the SPS side and a 20K Ushio over the softies. Some of the pics earlier in this thread had a 14K Phoenix over the softies.

Oh I see, thanks Seapug. Do you have zoanthid polyps in all 3 of them?

Last night I had a dream Seapug and you were in it. In the dream we were at some type get together/party function, pretty crowded place, and you were to my right and I leaned over and asked you if your orange fungia fluoresced. And you answered with a resounding "Yes!". And then we were practically giddy about it.
lol honest to god.

...Not that dudes would be "giddy".
I was the giddy one. You were like "Yeeah!" As in when guys go "Yesss...score!".

Um. Can you show us a picture of your brain?

Let's look at Seapug's gallery to see if there are any more of his tank or coral photos, shall we?

So I'm thinking about start a zoa mat in my 20L AIO. Any suggestions for me?

I was thinking about getting the 20 zoa frag pack from pacific east aquaculture, I'm just nervous that I won't get good colors.

thanks. That photo with the pymy angel in front of the brain coral is from over a year ago. I need to post some updated pictures, just been very busy with work.

I should mention that after 2 weeks of dosing AZNO3 my Nitrates have dropped from about 50 to somewhere in the 20 range, or from red down to orange (the way I see it). I'm going to keep going until I get down to yellow.

I didn't get that after 6 weeks of Vodka dosing, so I'm now a believer in AZNO3.

The giant white toadstool is very pleased with it. After remaining completely closed for almost a month, the polyps extending about 4" now. Looks like an anemone. The bad news is the toadstool is completely shading half the zoa garden. I might need to trim the Toadstool soon.

Oh yay! Yay for AZNo3, Yeeesss!
I should say Congratulations, because you had a battle with it.
And wow, I can't even imagine, the toadstool is even more happy and expanded?
Yes, I can see how it is indeed blocking light from the zoa areas. I think trimming the toadstool is a good idea.
I remember reading some posts from Melev on how he ultimately had to trim his giant toadstool and how he did it. And also how to best position a toadstool in an aquascape. I'd love (will try) to find the link.

Seriously though, upon seeing your zoas I passed out hitting my head, ****ing my pants, and finally after 30 minutes I remembered who I was and what I was originally doing. I hope I'm alright to make it to the fish store...

A very captivating garden you have there.
