I have never seen a prop tank so cleverly disguised as a display aquarium. I know plenty of people, myself included, who would drool over that tank because it looks so great.
I love the school of Bangaii cardinals you have in there. Especially "no tail"
Beautiful Looking Tank. Keep those pictures coming. Have you unsuccessful in trying to keep certain corals? Just wondering where you get most of your corals?
WOW, I'm new relatively new to Reef aquariums, but your tank is the best looking out of all the setups I looked at. Looks great!! Think I'm going to have to start practicing and make some tanks so some day I can make a tank that even aproaches yours.
I really like this tank. I am thinking about doing a 6'x3'x15 inches high display tank and this completed my decision. I just wish I could build my own tank like you did
Thank you for your kind words Mr. Furious. At first I was also thinking going 15" as heigth but after talking to some people about propagation tanks I decide to go only 12"because you really don't need much heigth in a prop tank. My next tank is going to be 8" tall.
I really like what you've done. My ideal display tank is a little deeper and shallower than most spec tank sizes; it looks like you hit the proportional sweet spot. Your cabinetry is simple and clean. Slap some stain and varnish on the wood and I'd be happy to have a display tank that looked that nice.
You made an excellent work in the assembly of the system, and I wait that you continue with this will for the propagation...
I wait with some curiosity the new features of new tank (you do not forget them photos )
PS - you have ones frags interesting, mainly for my collection of zoanthus
