New Pumps

One of my 6100's just failed epicly (after 6 years) and I replaced it with a seio temporarily. This is obviously far from ideal. So I figured I'd pick up a pair of the stream 2's, my question is.

1) Which model is best? 120gallon. (4x2). Mostly SPS tank (some LPS). Sand bottom.

2) Will the new pumps work with my 7095 controller? Or do I need to get a 7096?

3) Will the new pumps last me another 6 years? :)

Our target is always that our products can be expected to last a minimum of 5 years with good care. I would say at present they should last as long but in the life span you will likely spend about $90 to keep them going, that would be one drive unit and one power supply over this time span. We are however working on a better power supply that should last longer, humidity tends to be what does them in. The 6105 is what I would recommend and it will work with the 7095.

Gotcha. Ordered.

And yes I was happy with 6 years considering the enviroment they work in. The other is still running perfectly, though it has the updated (from 2004 model) impeller assembly.
