New purple malu - treat or not?

Picked up this purple malu last weekend:

It's got a slightly open mouth which got me a bit worried.
Unfortunately malus don't display as clear symptoms as giganteas, and given my past experience where new malus brought two established and my previous purple crispa down, I consider treating it prophylactically.
Additionally this malu came from a tank with some sick anemones in it.

So what's the opinion of the malu experts - treat or wait?

Malu usually fare pretty well without treatment, but treatment would not hurt him. Best to treat. Love to see a picture.
The Malu that we discussed so much about is really doing well in my tank. I got three in my frag tank now. I will really try to settle down and see if I can spawn them again.
Good luck with your's.

Found it detached and "face down" this morning. I'm not taking any chances and start treatment tonight.

The malus I didn't treat in the past looked OK for a while and then started the deflation game - not enough to really look sick at first. It took them weeks if not months to die, which gave them plenty of time to infect all other Heteractis anemones in the system.
