new Ricordea order! How to attach their foot?

I got a bunch of unattached rics in a packet I recently purchased. I placed them in a tupperware on top of some rubble to allow the foot to attached. About an hour later I go back to check on them and they have managed to ride a wave and went all over my tank!

Anyway, I placed them back into the tupperware and this time I rubber banded some saran wrap over the tupperware and punched holes for flow. Is this a safe practice?

u dont want to use super glue gel directly on the ric. most of the time they will slime over and will get detached or worse, die. i would get some bridal vail or im sure you can find some netting to fit over the cup instead of the wrap. in a month or so they should be all attached.

Containers work asll if the sides are high enough to block the flow and if your substrate inside isn't piled too high.

I used to do it one at a time with a tall shot glass at it worked fine. Been using a glass ice cream dish to do 4 mushrooms at a time.

Get tule. the white veil material put the rics on the rubble then cover container with tule. wait a week they will attach themselves then place and glue rubble. Good luck! I have about 45 rics and they move al the time no matter what I do.
