new ritteri anemone what does everyone think!

First day in the tank! I only had to pay $10 for it, this is my first one I have ever had let me know what you guys think. the mouth was tight and the foot was strong

Are you sure you're looking at the same photo? LOL. This anemone has a purple base and has tentacles that are clearly different from that of a condi.

I think the nem looks fine, and was a steal at 10 bucks. Keep your nitrates down and it won't walk. Also, don't let it touch your tank walls, otherwise it will crawl up it. My only concern is the flow in your tank. It's a bit much, so much so that it looks like the nem is holding on for dear life. Strong flow is good, but not where it looks like the nem is about to peel away. The flow should be more laminar. You just need to shorten the wave a bit on the MP40. Good luck!

Looks good for the first day. And that is certainly a great price. I agree that the water flow is too much and the waves too quickly back and forth. Very annoying audio with this vid.

Agreed tooo much wave action. I have mine under a wp-60 on wave action. It loves it; just not as much flow as yours. Id turn it down some.

Have seen this tank in person and it is not as blue as the photo/video makes it out to be. As for being a condi; it is not.

yes kids are hard to turn off or mute but you got to love them! I think I will move him, it’s in the middle of my tank were the wave is at its strongest. it’s funny cause I actually want more wave action in the tank cause some of my RBTA barely move on the right side of my tank where the wave box is at.

I just installed ai sol blues over my 75 gallon.I started my light off at 45 w 55 b 55 rb.

this is what the flow looks like in the tank, there are defiantly some areas that are stronger than others. This is before I added the ritteri and the RBTAs seem to like it alot.

That flow looks perfect. Maybe the nem needed to inflate a bit more. Pretty Bta's!

so I moved the ritteri over more it seems to be in a better spot now, I noticed once he opened up a bit he has 2 mouths you can clearly see the split but the foot all seems to be one! I will post a picture later, has anyone else seen this or know about this, would like to see what other people think of it!
