Is the QT tank the same water as in the DT?

Yes it is i change 5 gallons at night then put in the cipro

Well this was this morning. Still deflates at lights out this is 4th day of treatment

Looking reasonable.. give it time, sometimes they need the full seven days. The Mag I'm rescuing didn't look too hot initially, but tonight is day seven of treatment and looks so much better.

I might keep in for 10-14 days did not deflate last night so thats a good sign
