new rock dweller discovered need ID

in case pic is bad.and I know it is....it's bout the size of your thumb kinda creamy orange colored with 3 large circles on it's back that are black outlined and black dot in the center...it is very beautiful but just need to figure out what it is and if it's a good creature or not

Yes, please give more details on characteristics and movement, etc. It's hard to discern much from the picture.

It looks like one of those small tan clam type things that grow on my rock from the looks of the picture. From the description is sounds like a nudibranch.

ok guys I have new pics and hope they help...and Gary it looks kinda like a slug or shelless snail and moves like one too...only comes out in early morning around 6:30am and no lights are on

soft body I'm sure because this morning it seem to be flatten out and not fat and round as it appeared yesterday morning and has no antenna or feet that I can tell

+1 for limpet. I used to have one that looked/acted similar to this. If you could find it in the daytime, it just looked like a nondescript shell. At night, its body would come out and over the shell (like a cowrie) and it would cruise around.

OMG!! I have two living in the same rock...found the second one shortly after the lights went out tonight right beside the first one and it's so cool...we've named them Herbert and Sherbert because the orange color they have reminds my daughter of orange sherbert icecream and she keeps wanting me to get one out so she can photograph it up-close but I'm thinking that's not gonna happen because they don't seem to like the light very much when we try to take nightshots and the camera flashes and I know the biggest one is around 5-6 inches in lenght it lives in "fraggle rock" which has numberous nukes and crannies that it travels trough so I wouldn't want to hurt it trying to get it out of a hole..maybe one night or early morning one of them will be completely out on the rock so that maybe I can catch it
