lol no those are two different anemones ones is a white BTA and the other is a RBTA the white BTA turned all ugly went to the back of the tank and turned like brown i dont know what happened to it? so i got a RBTA i hope this clear things up haha

he meant that the "white" hue you enjoyed from the other anemone was a result of the anemone loosing its' symbiotic algae. when it gained the algae back(became healthier) and turned dark you didn't like the look of it.

+1

There are no white BTAs, only sick ones that have lost their color and appear white. All BTAs have a color when healthy, either brown, green, red, yellow, or a mix of these.

Another +1. It's a shame anyone would sell a white BTA, as it's obviously not healthy and will gain color in a healthy tank. What the OP calls ugly, I'll call healthy.

We bought a small RBTA a while back that was bleached but still had color to it. We were told in advance that the water it came out of before finding it's way back to the store wasn't the greatest but we thought we'd give it a try. It did fine for a few months then it moved out of the direct light closed up and in the end died. :(
