New S. Haddoni...

just wondering, what is the main reason you guys don't think it will do well; is it mainly because of the small water volume and how you think it will be unstable? The lighting should be fine though right, though it definitely is on the low side, right? What about water movement?

Thanks.

My main concern is the water volume. Not so much the instability as far as temp and salinity goes, (although that's a real concern) but its inability to deal with the waste this anemone can produce. In order for this anemone to survive, I believe you will need to increase the water volume. Maybe do like Gary suggested, or install a sump on this tank. You can pick up used aquariums pretty cheap, or some people have used rubber maid totes from Wal-mart as sumps. Anything to increase total water volume so that the anemone's waste is diluted below toxic levels.

alright, thanks guys. Still though, after about a week in my tank (the nem), my water params seem realy good. 0 ammo 0 nitrites 0 nitrate 8.4 pH, and 76degrees constant. Will this likely change?

I think whether or not it will change will depend on your maintenance routine and how big the anemone is if it grows.

If you can I'd upgrade those lights or like you were going to at least add that T5.

I have a bit of experence w/ Bta Haddonis and just cause some thing looks alive does not mean it thriving! Must say though iv been lerking the anemone forum for a while and the few that have gave the best advice are the ones w/ most experence after all in this hobbie some people would rather learn the hard way! just my .02

any updates on that haddoni in the 20 gallon?

If I am not mistaken, the OP sold the Haddoni and got another anemone -- want to say BTA.
