new software for mitras and profilux users

ProfiLux Control 6 is completely renewed with the Light Composer from GHL Control Center.

You will be able to load Mitras *.lpc files in the new version of ProfiLux Control and easily set up the Illumination with ProfiLux Control.

The ProfiLux Computer will work as master and control all your Mitras lamps (they should be set to slave mode).

The thunderstorm synchronisation between ProfiLux and Mitras is also implemented.

Each Illumination channel can be separately controlled and set up directly from ProfiLux Control.

You can also use our smartphone apps to manually control the brightness of each channel.

New versions of profilux control, profilux and mitras firmware will be available to download within a shortly at www.aquariumcomputer.com

As a word of caution...make sure you back up your settings (under File - Transmit all settings from Profilux to file) before updating to Ver. 6 firmware. As usual the update was relatively straight forward.

I currently run 5.17 with 5.171 proficontrol. before I disconnect my 3.1N to update the firmware etc etc really need to understand does this release provide any new features on the basis I run my own DIY LED's. ?

I would really like updates to web interface features and vortech eco modes.

Where do I find a list of enhances or is this release all Mitras related ?

Easier said than done, well at least in the english section of the forum... I have also looked for an instruction manual, hwoever understand this maybe still beta.

i was hoping that this was going to be like to other ver 6.x that came out two or three years ago. it had a better look and feel. size able windows. I just liked it better. some had posted they did not like the look. it does need to change. like windows OS ver 6 to ver 8 was a big change but it still came in to use. with the fixed window is old school. needs to change. I looked at a lot of other systems to what they have. this does not mean I want to change. the hardware is the best I believe that can be had. not so much the user interface. just my 2cents.

it still the best system.
