Here is the almost finished stand and canopy for my new custom 183g cube tank.

Looking good and looks like you have some sanding to do still LOL. Currently finishing my stand/canopy for my 210 and just got all the sanding done and glad its over with :)

Are you planning on staining it a color or keeping it natural finish in color
 
Nice! Would you mind posting more pictures of the inside of your canopy? For example, how do you access the tank for feeding? Is it the same for cleaning? What about fans and so forth.

I'm knee deep in construction ideas for my canopy on my existing 120g reef because I'm adding more light and want a better design with easier access.

The front and both sides of the canopy have doors that open on hinges. Also the entire top lid of the canopy lifts up via hinge and hydraulic arms. The fans will be attached to the back lip of the canopy which is viewable in the first posted picture. I will post more pictures when everything is installed. But here are some pictures of it being primed.
