"Tropical Pet Cove" opens Saturday 07, 2006

I have no clue what time they will be opening but they will be open. Everyone needs to come down and show their support. They are located on hwy 119 in alabaster, al. From hwy 31 turn onto hwy 119 travel about 9 miles it will be located on the right next to "allstate". In the same building as "Celebrity video & tan" and "Lisa & Co."

I have not posted much on here for a while, but my wife and I have been working on this store for a couple months now and finally opened today. It is a full line pet store, but mostly conectrating on Saltwater, Freshwater, and Reptiles. Please come buy and take a look and let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Hours are Tuesday - Saturday 10:30 to 7:30 and Sunday 12:00 - 5:00. We are closed on Mondays.

NICE SHOP I was in Sat. and talked with Daryl for a long time.
I got two clownfish from him sum time back,and he one of the nicest guys you will want to meet.You will be seeing me in alot.

No discus at the moment. Once I have been open for a while and have alot more traffic I will consider adding them. I do know someone locally that usually has some Jack Watleys for sale though if you are interested.

Just had the pleasure of visiting this store - they are still setting up and growing but they had EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Good selection + Fair prices + Friendly people = repeat business

I enjoyed my shop there and look forward to a return visit.

Alabaster is about 20 miles south of Birmingham. If you were coming down I-65 you would take the #238 Alabaster / Columbiana exit. If you need more directions I would be glad to help you.

I was in Daryl's store tonight and it looks great! They are working hard to have a great place for everyone! The SW tanks were spotlessly clean and the livestock looked great. He has a few SPS frags and a few other corals.

Everyone should go visit!

Here is some specific directions for everyone. Please call if you have trouble finding it.

From I-65 N take exit #238. Turn right which puts you on Hwy 31 going north. Go about .5 miles to the first traffic light. That is Hwy 119. Turn left there and go almost exactly 3 miles. I am in a small strip mall on your right. The first company you will see in the strip mall is Celebrity Video and Tan.

From I-65 S take exit #238. Turn left which puts you on Hwy 31 going north. Go about .5 miles to the second traffic light. That is Hwy 119. Turn left there and go almost exactly 3 miles. I am in a small strip mall on your right. The first company you will see in the strip mall is Celebrity Video and Tan.

I think if you are headed South on 65, you turn RIGHT onto 31 and if you are headed north on 65, you turn LEFT onto 31.

Was in the store today (again) to pick up my Oceanic 29 BioCube. Daryl is carrying frags from Philip! Yippee! I got a great looking zoo frag and he said he can get what you are looking for from Philip or his other sources. Sooo, if you are looking for something specific, give him a call and he'll do what he can.

Daryl also said he is going to be setting up an online store, hopefully in the near future, so those of you a little further North or South can still get what you want! He may even be willing to ship to you now.

He and his wife are working really hard to have a great place for everyone!
