Spent the day switching my sump from under tank to my new basement sump. Glad it's done,

Only real issue is with my skimmer which won't stop blowing micro bubbles

It looks great! If you can reconfig your baffles to go under-over-under (instead of over-under-over) you'll probably get more of those bubbles to pop before your return chamber.

Moving baffles is a real pain, but you could just take the first one out and make it the last one.

Thanks, Ben, the baffles are actually the same design as my old sump, the problem is really with the Skimmer, not sure what happened, I did clean it, but its been hours and still producing 10x more bubbles than normal.

Looks good Chris - may need to give the skimmer a day or two to settle down...wouldn't worry yet.

I have water going in my 40B tomorrow - and I am jealous of all the room you now have for your sump! Mine is under the tank...

I reconfigured a couple of days ago and my skimmer did the same thing. It had never done that before. Just wait- it settled down after a couple of hours.

The sumps are not the same size, I kept the same design but went from a 30g to 40g breeder
