How do you like the macro rocks so far? in the past i have always bought fully cured liverock and never even notice a cycle and it always have tons of life on it but it is really espensive. Im considering going the macro rocks route the in the next tank i setup though

WOW looks good... just wish I could spend less on my tank so I could buy more goodies for the inside. Nice aquascaping too

LMAO...I threw that out of the window as you can see!! I sold it as the more I spend now the less I spend later. It worked!! That and a 3 day weekend for the wife away from me and the kids at the beach.
I love the Marco Rock. I put like 4-5 pieces of live rock in it and used Bio-Sphere to speed up the cycle. As you can see from how stocked my tank is after a month, I had a very short cycle..only 3 days.
Thanks! I had a 125 before this tank and it is much easier to buy everythig you need faster on a smaller tank. You figure the cost of a good skimmer on a 320 would probably run what everything I have cost combined

... I'm going to see if I can get away without a skimmer... I know it will probobly only be like six months before I brake down and buy one but I'm going to try... (also making lots of DIY rock to help with costs)
But keep up the good work and any time you add stock we all love pics

Great lookin tank.Iam currently upgradeing my 46bow just added a lifereef overflow, sump,ATI 6 bulb 39w Sunpower.Hopefully some SPS come july.Good luck with the tank.
Nice looking tank! SPS will do fine under those lights, no need to wait until July IMO, From the looks of your tank it's been up for a while, it looks great. How did you fit that ATI over the 46? I see the canopy, but isn't it too wide? That is why I ordered the TEK Elite which won't be hear until the end of may. The legs on that are 10 inches so it will fit. I looked at the icecap but ti was too wide and the Nova Extreme Pro has to go. Works good for now, but i don't like the way it looks. I considered the ATI Sunpower but didn'ts think it would fit considering I can't hang a light with my setup. Are you hanging it? I can't tell from the pic. Also are you going to add another powerhead?

I need to wait till july for the fund's $$$ for the corals..The tank has been up for 3 years now.
Yes the fixture is hanging.It's only 36" long x 13" wide perfect fit for a 46 bow.I also was going to get the Tek Elite but got tired of waiting I think i heard it's not going to be out till june now..
It's not a canopy I cut 3 pieces of plexiglass painted it black and attached it to the rim of the tank with velcro to block the light overspill into the room.
Yes i ordered another MP10 for the other side.

Where did you order your fixture? I got mine from Aquarium Specialty I think there are in NC great customer service.You are going to love the ATI fixture super bright.What bulb combo did you go with?
I've dealt with them before. I order all my stuff from Premium Auqatics. They already shipped it out so I'll have it Wednesday. I ordered new bulbs last week and still have them in the box. I am going with the same combo I have now. 4 ATI blue+, UVL White Actinic, and a Giesseman Aquablue. I like the color. I was thinking of swapping out the Gieseman for a KZ Figi Purple but think that may be too blue. What are you running?
