New Tank Dilemma (Aiptasia)

Here's the deal, I'm setting my tank back up and bought a couple pounds of live rock to seed the approx 90lbs of dead rock I have.

On the new LR, I see aiptasia (sp?) on two of the three rocks. Probably a half dozen each and they are pretty tiny. Rock selection in town stinks (not to mention way over priced). These were the only pieces I found that actually have some coralline and life on them.

Do I let the tank do its thing and worry about the pests after it cycles? Try to kill them now? Get some peppermints knowing the tank isn't ready (only been up and running about 6 days)?

Thanks,
Matt

tough call. id pull the rocks and dry them out.

Try to get a fellow reefer in the area to sell you a rock to seed. Dont mess with aptasia man, its better to take swift action now then be screwed later when you add corals.
