Six line wasses
Purple fire fish
And 2 small gobbies

And was thinking of a. Small angle or tang but not sure with my size tank if it will work out. The angle will probable nip at my zoas ? Right? And would a tang hang enought room ? Or just keep it at. My current line up
I'm going to be up grading to a 28 gallon cube.

Thanks for the advice

My old. 20 gallon is getting taken down. My friend gave me the tank and its a money pit. Needed new lights ,skimmer the whole 9 yards. So I figured to get what I want if I'm going to spend the money.

Flame wasses are cool but I'm lookin for a 6 line forsure since they seam to be good with pest control maybe even 2 of them,

Just looken for. How many and if I will have issues with tank mates

also stick with just one sixline. They are pretty, but with only being able to keep 5-6 fish why would you want 2 of the same fish? JMO.. Also what little pest controlling they may do, one will easy cover the 28g... BTW I am not sure that they really control any real pests other than maybe red planria, but I really have no idea :) But they will keep your pod count to a minimum

Also, make sure of the "small gobies" is some sort of shrimp goby (i.e. hi-fin (smaller variety) or yellow watchman goby), pair it with a pistol shrimp and make for great entertainment...

Thanks a lot. So tangs are out of the picture damm... potter angel ? Or coral angal I have have heard a lot About them nipping should I stay away from them also ?

I don't know about that last fish choice especially in a small 28 gallon tank. Its super nice and all, but The mandarin is gonna basically wipe out all your pods, and once they're all gone, they'll just eventually starve and die. Unless you train it to eat mysis or prepared food. But i could be wrong

You should have plenty of pods running around... When I first started my tank they were all over the place... tons on the glass! Now that I have fish, they all hide in the LR and sand... you can see them at night if you shine a flashlight in there...

Anyway, I agree, no mandarin... or any other sand sifting gobies... They will likely starve in such a tank. I learned the hard way, I had a twin spot goby that was doing well until the sand was clean and I changed my feeding method (stupidly) and left on the powerheads. With the powerheads on, he seemed to not be able to get any food, as he would usually scoop up any extra food that hit the bottom. By the time I figured it out, it was too late and I couldn't get him to eat :(

No the Randals is not a sand sifting goby. He will come out of his burrow and snag some stray food while feeding the tank.

ya i had the same thing happen to my twin spot. i dont think i have any pods no joke, my current tank was givin to me by a friend who never added any suppmlents to the water and only uses tap water. He could only keep a shrimp living in it, all of his fish died with in a month or 2 everytime. here is a pic of how dead the tank was when i got it and then ill show a pic of now
