is your external pump connected directly to the pvc pipe? couldn't really tell from the picture. I did that on my old system and it eventually caused a leak on the threads.
i hope that doesn't happen to me
I over size on the 2 hole clamps, the hold the pipe in place,
so it have some play to help withe the vibrations which my cost to leak
also i put some plastic foam under the pump to damp the sound and vibrations
