hi, my name is mike
i live in clinton near the pittsburgh airport
new to the hobby, had my first disaster about 2 months into setup
my heater shattered and contaminated my tank
killed the 3 corals i had and all my snails, damsels survived as did my coral banded shrimp
hope my rock is ok .right now no signs of life in my refugium
did a massive water change and added a cup of live sand from LFS
could use some advice and looking for some cheato
all mine died
should i add another piece of live rock from an established tank and more sand or just wait it out
all parameters are fine

I wouldn't worry about your rock too much. You're more than welcome to grab a handful of cheato from my tank anytime you want. n.b.g@hotmail.com is my email address or PM me on here.

Welcome to R/C

I would suggest investing in a Stealth heater or someother type that isn't glass! IMO Stealth heaters are the best. Love them!
