Dave when should I remove that sock this is first sump I've had with a sock instead of filter pads. The sock is almost black already tank is 98% cleared up looking better
Probably would be a good idea to take it out and at least rinse it for now to get all those bigger particles out. Typically I change mine out once a week and have them washed.
kinda hard to advise on that statement. I have always been able to pretty much set and forget with that model.
Are you over adjusting maybe? Prob best to pop by tomorrow
Hey Brent, most skimmers I have used,it doesn't take much to make it go one way or the other.I would make very small adjustments to find the sweet spot.Like Dave said then it pretty much set and forget.
oddly enough I had issues with the skimmer on the biocube not working also. I did manage to get it fixed today though. Turns out there was some fine black sand down in the impeller housing and it was seizing everything up.
Does the halide have a fan on it though?
There is a fan that is supposed to be on it remember I told you when I got it one of the blades were missing so it was making a real loud racket so I took it out was going to order another fan but never did
