I've decided to get one of the small Lee's protein skimmers.

aqua i am buying a setup and a bunch o things together i know there is a few burlin skimmers with it ill probably sell most of it if u want one of those skimmers ill sell u one for 25.00 and there might be some other things there that u might need ill be picking it up in about a week pm me things that u need it will be cheap enough if i have what u need

if it was me i would not go with the 2x24 setup i would go with the 4x24 watt because it gives you a little more to upgrade to a bigger tank down the rd and you can just run 2 bulbs in that lite if u choose the one i have i got it with 2 20k white and 2 atinics to give a blue tint to the tank

I might be interested in the skimmers, and I was thinking about the 4x24w fixture, but it would be cheaper to get 2 2x24w fixtures and run one all white at 20k and one all actinics.

yes it is cheaper to get two fixtures but the y r hinged on the mounts and with two you wont get your arms in your tank and you want to stagger the bulbs and it is cheaper to run one ballast instead of two the 4x24 also has moon lites and the 2x24 does not but eather way will work im sending you a pm now
