Just got my 6025 today and set it up in my 12g AquaPod. When I plugged it in the Nano turned into a snow globe! I love the way the new pump looks and operates, but is there any way to throttle it down a bit? Maybe placement is the key....any ideas?

put it in the middle of the tank and aim it at the top of the tank not straight up but definetltly dont point one down unless you tank is 30 inched deep
it says 11 gallon but that is maybee bare bottom if you figure it out tell me

Thank you Roger....I will give it a try. If it's still too much flow do you know of a way to slow it down a bit?

There is no way to slow it down. you will have to work with the flow angle and direction.

go bare bottom and it will make an amazing sps tank but it is a lot of pump for anything under 20gal

It depends on your focus, I think it is OK for a 10-20 gallon high flow tank with SPS, but it may be too much for a reef of softies under 20.

but a 6055 that ramps beetween 30 and 60 percent would that work or would 60 percent of a 6055 still be stronger than a 6025

It would be a bit slower on 30% than a 6025, at about 40% you have the same power as a 6025.

I have 2 in my 24 gallon nano.
flow isn't as strong as i expected, but it does bother my clams i feel. as a result i turned one off.
one has a terrible rattling noise.....

The noise will go away in time, they will rattle on start up but they should not rattle in normal use.
