hey guys just thought it was time to start up another tuscaloosa thread. hopefully now that schools about done for the semester it will be easyer to set up some meetings and all.

also i have just curently moved and upgraded to a 75g and now have an extra 55g sitting around if anyone is interested. also if anyone is interested i have a good bit of extra green star polyps
 
Meeting time. I vote we get some black leather jackets that say "T-Town Thunderbirds (and Reefkeepers)" :)

I am in the process of setting up a 75 gallon too. I have teh stand built, and I'm going to start building the canopy as soon as finals are over. Here are some pics of the stand: :)

That stands looking good. I would be in for getting together for a small meeting as well, just specifiy where or when. Last time we almost got it rolling but it never took off. I know there are at least 5 local reefers in Tuscaloosa and probably many more. If we meet up anybody got any ideas for a topic?
 
Yep I would be divorced (LOL) , wife would kill me for building in the livingroom! Kidding aside the stand looks really nice just had to chime in when i seen where you were working at :-).
 
hahah, luckily I only have to deal with a roomate getting upset about the messes I make. The livingroom is still a disaster, but at least the stand has been moved to the corner since those pics were taken. :)

For those that don't know me, I'm moving in a couple of months and am looking to SERIOUSLY thin out my tanks before I do. I may even consider unloading the whole setup! If/when we have a meeting soon, I'll bring pictures. I'll offer up my place to host again, but no one seems to want to drive that far!
 
Heres an updated pic of the stand/canopy. I am ordering the doors for the canopy tomorrow. It will have 2 on the front, and 1 on each side. The whole front of the canopy also flips up. There is still a good bit of trim left to be put on, and there are some areas I need to work with the stain a little, but overall it's almost done.

If anyone wants to set an actually date! With a little bit of notice I think most will be able to show! You set a date and I will be there! I will even bring some Monti cap frags if anyone want one.

I would be down for a couple of small monti frags and have some green and red mushrooms to trade as well. We do need to meet up, guess the 3rd of June would be a good time. I am in a pretty central location in Rivermont apartments located about 3 miles from downtown Tuscaloosa. I would not mind hosting then if you guys wanted. I could pick up some beer as well -

The 3rd sounds good to me! So I second the day. I also vote for 5pm. I got some wonderful frags from phillip today at A.D. I always love going by there at seeing the wonderful corals.
