New underwater Camera

Here's a vid from my camera at the Triangle Lake Rock Slides in Oregon. I got to test the waterproof ability in a little rougher conditions than my aquarium.

That looked like fun! What's your temperature like this time of year? It's so hot and humid in Texas. :(

Your pics with the camera are amazing! Great job. I just bought an underwater digital camera for a trip I am taking...I haven't had a chance to test it out yet...here is a pic of it...

make sure you post some pics when you get back, some pics in the tank would be cool too. i looked at that camera too, but eventually went with the 1030.

Nice to see the thread back cool shots I really like those last ones by downhillbiker very impressed and the video footage that looks like a blast!!! It must be nice to know if you smash the camera on the rocks it will probably be just fine..

Great pictures everyone. Dhillbiker- loved the video. That rock slide looks sweet!

Here's one i took in Ireland in June. The lens was half underwater and half above.

Tang Salad that is what I would call a "Money Shot" Very cool, and a whole new level of photography to think about. Now can you do it again but make the rocks reef please.''

But...but....that is a reef! A freshwater reef! That tiny light speck, just left of center, is even a minnow. (Actually, I doubt this would rarely be possible in the ocean, as the wave height needs to be lower than half the diameter of the lens...which is about 1/2")

that is an awesome pic tang salad.

i am glad everyone has enjoyed the pics and video. i was just talking with my fiance today, and it is amazing how much our photography skills have increased with this camera. the equipment makes the pics SO much better.

here are a few from the rose gardens.

Well, chalk up another sale for this camera because of this thread. I actually got mine a couple of months ago but just haven't had time to post any shots. I can't wait to take this camera snorkling in St. Thomas when I go in September!

These may not be the best. I'm still working on my technique.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who loves this camera. Very nice. Recently my uncle visited me and he is a professional photographer, he liked my photos and then he showed me some of the lighting adjusting you can do with this camera, also changing the ISO witch can be done if the camera is not set on auto (like mine was). So now I need to play around a little more, just waiting for some spare time.

CyclistMT, love the pics, good to see more with this awesome camera. if you are going to St. Thomas, I would HIGHLY recommend taking the ferry across to St. John and snorkel there. The reefs are so much better there and so many less people. I dont remember what the name is, but the bay with all of the starfish, that is the good one. Someone will be able to tell you where it is exacly. They have hundreds of 2 foot diameter star fish. From the bay snorkel back toward the road and go along the drop off on the reef. You will see some of the biggest and most beautiful fish ever. The water must be very nutrient rich because we say a school of French Angels that must have been 12-20" long each. Cinnamon bay is neat too. there are a couple reefs there worth while, and a fun place to hang out on the beach too.

I apologize...I rearranged photos in photobucket and it deleted most of my picture posts for this thread, sorry to double post, but I would like new people to see some of my pics as well, some are pretty interesting.
